TRAINING SERVICES

Lean Consulting has developed a highly effective, modular-based Lean Training Programme that we can deliver on our clients sites for groups of up to 12 participants.

 

Our programme is geared specifically to deliver to Operational needs and challenges. Too many 'Lean' courses are designed around manufacturing requirements, and the simple truth is that Lean needs to be applied differently in an Operational environment.

 

For example: where the principles of '5S' are a powerful way of reducing waste, and ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in a Manufacturing operation, these principles generally do not have the same impact in an operational business.

 

Our course has been created by operational experts with years of real life experience in both delivering Lean programmes in businesses and delivering Lean training to operational staff.

 

Our modular approach to the design of our training programme allows it to be highly customisable to meet the needs of your operation. Whether you want a full Lean Training programme, or a management introduction to Lean, our training programmes can deliver.

Our approach is more than just providing some 'classroom-based' training. We have a structured approach to ensuring that participants have understood and retained knowledge through our testing approach.

 

We also have a structured approach for the completion of a 'Lean' project. Each participant is required to complete a project in order to achieve their Lean certification. Whilst testing participants as part of the course is a positive method of ensuring understanding, a project serves to ensure that newly trained colleagues can translate that understanding into real life practice.

 

It also ensures the business gets a real, meaningful return on investment from the training.
